Hi, I’m Brandon,
I’m an artist that has mostly worked in the video games industry. In 2015 I left a job working for Disney Interactive to complete my comic Green Monk: Blood of the Martyrs (you can read about it by scrolling down). You can see more of my art by poking around this website.
I see all of life as my canvas, and I love exploring creativity in how I live, relate to others and view the world.
I am a certified Relatefulness facilitator and Relateful coach under the Relateful Co. (formerly Circle Anywhere). I host weekly Relatefulness sessions over zoom that I call “The Emotional Fitness Gym”, where we explore new horizons of creativity and imagination in connection with each other. If you want to join me you can sign up for updates here.
I do one-on-one coaching for anyone looking to open up to greater creativity in their life. This is particularly designed for artists facing creative blocks and those interested in coming into more intimacy with their deepest creative impulses. In my experience creating beautiful art is less about building skill (although that matters) and more about learning to connect boldly to what matters, what is alive, and what burns most ardently in your heart. If you’re interested, you can send me a message via the contact form below.
I’m a dedicated meditator and have completed around 1500 hours of practice and a month of total retreat time. I have experience with various meditation approaches including MBSR, Insight, Unified Mindfulness and Pragmatic Dharma. Since 2020 I have been practicing under the guidance of Abre Fournier and have most recently been practicing with the various teachings of Rob Burbea, including Soulmaking Dharma, Emptiness and the Jhanas.
I love connecting with other artists that are exploring the Dharma, self-development and the creative potential embedded in every corner of life. Feel free to drop me a line if you’d like to connect!
Green Monk: Blood of the Martyrs
Green Monk: Blood of the Martyrs is the beginning of a legend. It's the origin story of Alexey, the wandering monk and how he came to possess the Greenblade.
Same character as the YALSA award winning mini-comic, but the two stories are completely independent (maybe).
It's a full-color, Trade Paperback on-sale now from Image Comics..
You can order it via your local comic book shop or through my store.
You can see me chatting about it with Jonathan Pageau here:
